| As people of faith we understand that we are called to justice and mercy. As we serve others we are reminded of God’s grace and blessings in our own lives. Jesus also reminds us that we are to feed the hungry, welcome strangers, care for the sick, and reach out to those in prison.We seek to fulfill Christ’s call to share God’s love with others through global and local mission efforts. A healthy meal and a place to connect is provided through summer lunch and community meals. The lives of community children and youth are enriched through invitation and funding to participate in Vacation Bible day camp and on summer mission trips. Through partnerships with Love In the Name of Christ, Angel Tree Christmas gifts, and a variety of local agencies and groups, we serve children and families in need. We engage in missions of justice and mercy by sharing information and financial support for refugees and for our missionaries who work to combat poverty in rural Mexico.
All are welcome to join in the effort to create a more just and loving community and world and to explore and experience faith through serving. “Come grow with us” as we serve and worship together. |
