Kids in VBS will be learning about Jesus in a fun, outdoor environment with others in the community. A great volunteer opportunity for young adults. Perfect for ages 4 through 22.
FAITH FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
First UMC Dekalb has many opportunities for kids to engage with their faith and with others.
Cub Scouts
Teaching scout training to children from kindergarten age through 5th grade.
Christian Education
Teaching children of all ages how to be more like Jesus.
Mission Possible
The youth are able to attend a mission trip once a year. Perfect for youth in 6th through 12th grade.
Boy Scouts
Scouting lessons continue for youth ages 6th grade through high school.
Youth Group
Youth in grades 6th through 12th get together for team buiding and other activities while keeping God as a main focus.
Scholarship Team
A scholarship opportunity for a graduating high school senior.

Provides a safe space at NIU to discuss religion and how it fits into a college student's life.
