Each year VBS campers participate in a Mission project. This year we will be collecting coins, bills, gardening gloves, paper towels, packs of copy paper, small hand shovels, pens, binder clips, and garbage bags (40 gallon or bigger) for Walnut Grove Farm. New this year, campers will have a chance to go to our mission site. One group per day (Monday – Thursday) will take the bus during the morning to Walnut Grove Farm to get a tour, help out a bit, and learn about the farm. Your signature on the registration form allows your child to take the bus to Walnut Grove Farm. If you do not want your child to go to The Farm, please contact the Director of Christian Education at 815-756-6301.
Parent and Camper Handbook and registration forms are available on this site and in the church office. Completed registration forms, handbook signature page, Walcamp Release, and payment may be dropped off or mailed to: First United Methodist Church, 317 N. 4th St., DeKalb, IL 60115.
